Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins is also referred to as Antonietta Gonzalez-Collins in both the United States and Mexico, is an American Mexican sportscaster. Her employer is ESPN and works as an SportsCenter News Anchor. Her first job for ESPN in the year 2016. She's the daughter of TV reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is a native speaker of two languages. When she was just nine, Collins's ability to converse in two languages helped her get a job in Miami as an assistant production at Univision. In her position, she had the opportunity to be a part of national show producers such as Nuestra Belleza Latina. Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. Then, the CBS affiliate in St. Petersburg employed her as a sports reporter. In 2009 she moved into Rio Grande Valley to work as a journalist for KNVO TV 48 Univision & Fox2 News. In reporting on news stories about drug trafficking and immigration on both sides the Texas-Mexico Border, she served as a news reporter for the Spanish channel KNVO TV48 at 5 pm, as a reporter for news in English for 9 pm, then a news anchor for 10pm, before returning back to KNVO TV 48, the Spanish channel. They eventually relocated to Mexico City where she was born on 22 November 1985. She has an elder sister. The family moved to Miami in 1992, after having left Mexico. They divorced shortly thereafter in 1995. Her mother remarried a naval architect called Fabio Fajardo who passed away from kidney cancer in 2006. The summer vacation that she stayed with her younger sister at Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl had secured a job. Antonietta was just graduating from high school but already knew the things she wanted to do. She discovered that she liked the campus as well as the fact that it had the program she desired. After graduation, she attended the university as a major in media studies. Her relationship lasted for a while with her instructor Mark Bergmann who was the director for WRMU 91.1 FM of which she was an affiliate. He was the one who boosted her faith and confidence, as well as whose enthusiasm in Journalism touched her deeply. She was determined to exceed his expectations and never let him down.
